FAQs

  • Being late is totally ok, but depending on where your class is, there are extra steps:

    • If your class is in the TREEHOUSE, doors may be locked after the class starts. If you are later than that, you’ll need to text your instructor. Don’t have their number? Try emailing info@ne.fitness. We’ll try to help, but can NOT guarantee entrance to the class. Late/no show fees are assessed if you don’t join the class.

    • If your class is in the BASEMENT, check in with your instructor and jump right in

    • If your class is in the CYCLE ROOM, come on in, set up your bike, and get going.

    If it’s your first class please be 10 minutes EARLY for your class.

  • All class cancellations must be made through the fitDEGREE app.

    All morning classes with a start time between 6am-10am must be cancelled the night before PRIOR to 9pm.

    All Pilates classes must be cancelled 4 hours or more before class time.

    All non-Pilates classes scheduled 10am or later and evening must be canceled 2 hours before class time.

    Any cancellations outside of those windows will incur a “late cancel” fee of $10 for all Pilates classes and $5 for all other classes.

  • If Northeast Fitness needs to cancel a class, we will give notice a minimum of a 60 minutes before class.

    Classes cancelled by Northeast Fitness will provide a refund, if applicable. Class registrants will be notified of the cancellation by email and/or text message 60 minutes before the canceled class time.

    Cancellations due to weather or other emergency situations will be determined as needed and communicated to class registrants by text, email, and social media.

  • A 30-day notice is required to cancel all memberships. If this happens between billing cycles, you will be required to pay one more payment.

  • When a spot opens up, clients on the waitlist are given an opportunity to join the class.

    Time to respond:

    • 48 hours before class: 12 hours to respond

    • 47 to 13 hours before class: 4 hours to respond

    • 12 hours before class: 5 mins to respond

    Once a time window has passed, the next client on the list will be given a chance to take the spot. A client can register anytime after their time begins, even if the next person in line is given time as long as there's an open spot.

    If all waitlist client's time runs out and there's still an open spot, the class is opened up to the public as an available spot.

    Clients will receive a notification to their phone alerting them when they can reserve a spot.

  • Street shoes are not allowed in any gym spaces to ensure a dirt-free workout for everyone! Please remove your street shoes upon entry in all spaces and change into your gym footwear.

    In the Basement

    • Gym shoes are required for all classes

    • You are welcome to keep your gym shoes at the gym in designated cubes

    • Bare feet are not allowed

    In the Treehouse

    • Socks are required for all Pilates and Yoga classes

    • Socks or gym shoes are required for all other classes

    • Bare feet are not allowed

  • Our gym is 18+.

    Minors aged 16-17 may sign up and participate in classes with a parent/legal guardian PRESENT AND PARTICIPATING with a waiver signed by both the minor and the parent/legal guardian

    Children under 16 are NOT allowed to participate in classes at NE Fitness.

    Minors are NOT allowed to wait in the gym while the parent/legal guardian are exercising or teaching.
