As an expression of gratitude for the abundance in our lives, from Sunday, September 15 through Sunday September 22 we will be collecting non-perishable food items for Glendale Food Shelf. This food program located in the Glendale Townhomes, sponsored by East Side Neighborhood Services, provides culturally specific foods to the residents of the community. Please drop off your food items in the big plastic tubs at Northeast Fitness in either the Treehouse or Basement. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please connect with Ruth Paisley in person or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cash and checks to East Side Neighborhood Services will be accepted.
Autumn is a time of gathering together and harvesting the year’s bountiful gifts. On this autumnal equinox join Ruth Paisley and Mary Langfield in reflection on the abundance of life through a quiet yin and restorative yoga practice. This practice will enrich your understanding of Santosha, the yogic ethical concept of contentment and satisfaction through reflections, yoga poses, and meditative stillness. Participation in this event may help you refocus and deepen your own gratitude practice.
Sunday, September 22nd, 6pm to 8pm
$25 members / $35 non-members
